A New Project

I hope your all well and happy, and your creating new and exciting pieces of art.
On Monday night after some deliberation I was close to deciding what my next project would be. Then my fiance entered the room and made his own suggestion of an animal that he loves very much and I actually hadn't really thought about doing.
Many years ago, Jools (my fiance) was a zoo keeper for the day at a local zoo. He loved all the animals, but there was one animal that he thought was just awesome. He especially loved the babies of this animal as they look very different to the adults. They are very unusual animals and rather cute, so I agreed and decided to do a portrait of this animal as a baby.
I started it rather late, around 9pm at night so just did the basics that night, completing the outline and putting in smaller details, but already you could see the character coming through.
Tuesday I started on my new project around 4pm after spending most of the day checking out a few things on the internet, replying to posts and messages on my pages etc. I continued working on him till approx 10pm and had managed to get one of his ears done, an eye almost complete and his markings very lightly put down. I then started to add the base layer of his coat. I decided half way through that I would put him down and restart him again Wednesday after I found my eyes were getting very tired after reading & typing all day too.
Wednesday (today) I woke and sorted myself out, and at 9am I started on my project. I've now got all his base coat down, and his markings now have their base layer too. It took me a little longer than I thought it would to get this done, but his markings are quite tricky. I put him down around 1pm and went online to check my website and blog. An advert popped up, for a website with full domain name etc. for a price much lower than I've been able to find anywhere else. So after much, much deliberation, I decided that I'd swap my website from the other website company I was using to this company! So far I have to say I'm very impressed. I was only going to spend an hour sorting this out, 5 hours later and I'm still here, but the site is almost done!
So I want to apologise for deleting my other page and sending out new details for this site, if you've noticed, but getting my own domain name just appealed so much that I couldn't resist. The other company I was using only accepted monthly payments which worked out quite expensive, but this site accepted a yearly payment, with domain name included for a much, much cheaper price, and if I want to, I can actually include my own email address, but I'm just going to stick to the one I have at the moment. I will say, if things do start taking off, I'm going to try and contact facebook so I can change my page from a page I manage through my main page, to a page on its own, I just feel this will work much better for me, I just hope I dont have to delete the whole page and start again. If I do what I'll do is try to copy every post over if possible and put it on the new facebook page so nothing is lost.
Well I'm off now to start doing some more work on my project. His identity will be revealed soon. I'm trying to decide whether or not to tell you what he is, or keep it till he's finished, but I'm worried some won't have a clue as he's quite unusual. I wonder what you think? I look forward to hearing from you.
