Doris is all finished!

Hi everyone,
So Doris is all finished and her wonderful owner is over the moon with her. I am so happy that she is happy with her as I wanted to make Doris special for her.
It was the first bird that I've ever drawn on a serious scale so I found the feathers quite a challenge however, I was actually pleased with the final outcome of the drawing, and watched a few YouTube videos to help me along the way.
The colour was also a little challenging for me also as I wanted to make sure I got the red right in the feathers, but I managed to get there in the end, however I did end up burnishing the paper a little in places to get there, but she still turned out great and gave me a lot of experience whilst drawing her.
