One ended, another begun

Hi guys hope everyone is well and happily creating art, whatever sort of art it maybe.
Well I've finished my baby Tapir, which my fiance absolutely loved! He's in the Gallery if you want to see him in full, though he will be above for a quick glance if you just want to look here, and I hope you'll like him. I was happy with this drawing, I've noticed more improvement again from my last and I hope that this trend of improvement keeps happening, though I'm sure overtime the progress will slow down as I think eventually you reach a time when you notice big changes in your work, but others may not because they did not draw it. It could be very subtle things like shading, sharper lines, etc. But even so I hope it continues as I truly am enjoying drawing and working with coloured pencils at the moment.
I've had to place some new orders over the last few days, first to replace some of my Faber Castell Polychromos which are down to stumps because of excess use lol, but I've also ordered a couple Luminance Pencils which I'll give you more details about when they arrive. I want to keep building my stock of pencils with different makes because each brand has different plus's to them. I am also hoping over time to build up my stock of soft pastels. I have a tin of pastel pencils, just a set of Derwent 12's, but I hope to buy a lot more, plus I want to get hold of some PanPastels, however they are far from cheap! So they may take me a few commissions before I can splash out on things like that, I'm not sure how I'll cover large areas of colour without the PanPastels, but I'll have to find a way if I don't have any before I start working with Pastels. In all honesty I would ideally like to get to the level I hope to reach with the pencils before I start thinking about working with pastels, but there's no harm in getting my stocks up and ready for when I do want to use them.
So I'm keeping this one short for now as its 3.33am and I'm feeling rather tired lol. Keep a look out for my next post, it will be sooner rather than later as I'll post as soon as my next completed project goes up.

Be happy & Keep creating!
