Pastel Puppy

Hi guys!

I've started another piece, I did a little last night, but started him properly today.  

I've decided its time to draw what my page is named from, a little Dackel! So I've started a new pastel piece of a little chocolate dachshund pup. 

His colour is far from right at the moment, but i'm just blocking in his colour at the moment, then I'll start his fur detail and will have his colour change to the right tones at the sametime. His eyes are a joy to draw, I have to admit, I am loving creating his different colours in the eyes, with the reflections too.

He's drawn on:

A4 pastel board with Faber-Castell Pitt pastel pencils and Derwent pastel pencils
