The Start of Coco
Hi everyone, well after completing my last equine portrait I decided that with Christmas fastly approaching, that I'd draw myself s beautiful stag out in the wilderness to not only challenge myself but my hope was/is that once complete, if I feel he's good enough, I would have a dozen of two prints made of him to possibly sell in the future at a local fair etc.
However, I was contacted by a lovely lady of the name Caroline who has been following me for quite sometime now, wanted me to draw an A4 portrait of her stunning grey mare Coco 😊
Of course I agreed and I started on her a few weeks ago. Sadly I had a few days stay in hospital due to spikes in my temperature and my pain. They found the cause, filled me with antibiotics and sent me on my merry way home and told me to contact my usual hospital and have an MRI scan arranged asap. So I spent around a week more laid up in bed with pain still bad and my temp rising and falling. Things eventually evened out on both fronts and I'm back to doing what I love, drawing, and my MRI is booked with my hospital and my surgeon for sometime in January.
So after a break to get better I am back working on Coco. I enclose some photographs of her for you including the photograph I'm working from and then various photos of Coco at a number of different stages of her getting closer to becoming complete 😊
I hope you like her.
